• Mandatory Uniform Policy for TASMAC Employees:
  • Policy Details: From November 15, 2026, 22,877 employees across 4,048 retail vending outlets of the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Limited (TASMAC) must wear prescribed uniforms.
  • Procurement: Cloth will be procured through Co-optex. If procurement/stitching delays occur, an annual uniform allowance of ₹2,000 per set (for 3 sets) will be credited directly to bank accounts.
  • Revenue Data: TASMAC generated a revenue of ₹50,845 crore for the fiscal year 2025–2026.
